41years of mastery Since 1985 My name is Ülker Sofuoğlu
I was born in Istanbul in 1973. In 1985, at just 12 years old, I started my career as an apprentice in a hair salon. I have been working as a manicure and pedicure specialist for 41 years, and over time I carried this experience into herbal hand, foot and body creams.
In the 12th year of my career I researched ingrown nails; studying anatomy, the skeleton and the skin, I earned the title of “Nail Technician”. Inspired by Avicenna, I began to think about what plant oils could give to the skin. My work required moisturising and repairing creams every day, and that need led me to herbal formulas. I have also written articles on nail health for newspapers and magazines.
From apprentice to formula
- 1985 · Apprenticeship — first steps in the profession in a hair salon at the age of 12.
- Mastery — manicure and pedicure expertise, ingrown nail research and the title of “Nail Technician”.
- 2011 · Research — five years of work on plant oils, bringing together moisturising seed and leaf oils.
- Natural formula — hand, foot and body care creams with tried and matured ratios.
- Today — our formulas have become a brand produced and filled in the factory and delivered all over Türkiye.
From formula to jar: how we produce
- Choosing the raw materials — skin-friendly plant seed and leaf oils and ingredients are carefully selected from their suppliers.
- The master’s formula — every product is formulated with the ratios Ülker Sofuoğlu has developed over the years.
- Factory production — our products are produced under hygienic, controlled conditions in a factory that complies with cosmetics regulations.
- Factory filling — the creams are filled into jars and tubes in the factory, closed and sealed; the product is not touched by hand from filling until it reaches you.
- Quality control — every production batch is checked; the packaging shows the batch (lot) number and expiry date.
- Packing and shipping — products are carefully packed and shipped to every province of Türkiye with DHL eCommerce.
